High efficiency & high power generation: PERC battery adds a back passivation layer and laser groove process based on conventional battery technology, which significantly improves battery efficiency. Longi released monocrystalline PERC modules in 2016 by combining monocrystalline PERC technology and low light attenuation technology. The current cell efficiency has increased from 21% to 24.06%.
Making full use of backside light: Longi has led the large-scale commercialization of bifacial products through bifacial monocrystalline PERC technology, becoming the module manufacturer with the largest shipments of bifacial modules, and application cases have spread all over the world. The power generation gain and reliability have been fully tested by customers.
By optimizing the film design and deposition process, excellent global passivation effects and reduced light absorption are achieved; a local low-resistance contact layer is introduced on the front to further improve cell efficiency; in addition, the front and back anti-reflection/low composite film layers are optimized with metallization scheme. The upgraded HPDC battery has better conversion efficiency, power temperature coefficient and higher reliability.
